This book of poems by Allison Joseph contains a series of pieces that deal with the life and death of the author’s father. The poems are poignant, sometimes funny, and other times show anger and frustration. It aptly deals with loss and the emotional aspect one goes through at such a time. The poems are all in sonnet format and that format makes it an easy read for the person who is not necessarily a poetry lover.
